XCL Framing Solutions were formed in 2005 to provide a full design, supply, manufacture and erect service of Light Gauge Steel Framed Buildings to Contractors.
Working exclusively in partnership with Metsec Plc, our core team has more than 20 years experience in the design and construction of Metframe – Metsec’s flagship building system.
Metframe is considered by many to be the pioneering LGSF building system in the UK with many hundreds of structures built over the last 30 years ranging from schools to offices; housing to apartment blocks and hotels to student accommodation.
Over this time strong investment has been made in product development and testing to ensure that the Fire, Acoustic, Thermal, Structural, Ecological and Aesthetic demands of today’s projects can be achieved. It is of course important to achieve the correct specification and standard of workmanship with the internal Drylining and for this reason we can provide a fully Drylined and Fire protected structure.
We are approved installers of the Metsec SFS system where the technology is applied to infill walling particularly suited to high rise or open plan structures. Working in co-operation with Architects, Consulting Engineers, Project Managers and so on we are able to draw upon our experience to resolve queries and offer solutions.
